The "Snipe" Hunt is alive and well

Our cabin neighbors are the Oleikan's, we love them.  they had there family come to visit them and ask Elder LeFevre to do a Snipe Hunt with them  they had a fun time. Now he has done it for many missionary families.

Getting Caught up

I know I keep doing my post with pictures, but the internet is not so good up at camp, and we are so busy, that I only have time to catch up the blog with pictures on my preparation day, when we are home and can use good internet.
      So enjoy!
Elder LeFevre, just chillin in the cabin at our lunch break

Found this Mama Moose when we went for a ride

We are heading up to Bald Null, the highest point on the Mountain, and
the scenery is spectacular, these pictures do not do it justice.

The Heber Valley in the distance

Marker at the top of Bald Knoll, you can see how high we were.

On top of Bald Knoll, you can see the Kamas Valley, the Heber Valley,
almost to Strawberry, it is amazing.  If you are a missionary here
you get to see all this beautiful land. The missionaries are the only
one's aloud to ride the outback trails, and we have seen some
amazing places.

On the way down we met 2 of mama Moose's friends, we got pretty close
and they did not even care.  The animals here are not afraid of
the missionaries, they know they are in a special place and we will not
hurt them.

A little blurry, but it was the only one we could get with both the bull
moose in the picture

Elder Terry ( our boss) walking back to the ATV's

Sis. Terry and I waiting, we thought the Moose had eaten Elder Terry
and Elder LeFevre, They followed them for about a 1/2 hour. We got a little
nervous, because we were parked where a Mama Bear and her 2 cubs
had been spotted just last week.

Our last load of Young Women leave the camp. We will miss them, they
bring a special spirit to the Mountain. They won't come back
until next summer.  Now we will take care of Families and groups until we
leave at the end of September. So Grateful we get to come
back next summer.

Elder and Sister Henderson and Elder and Sister Parks,
Every Friday, when the girls are checking out we have had
the blessing of emptying the garbages for Camp Smith and Camp Esther.
These are the great camp host we have worked with in Camp Smith

We are not sure what kind of bird this is, we just thought it was neat

If you can see it, there is a new born fawn lying on the ground, right in front of the
week old fawn.

The newborn is about 1 hour hold in this picture,  she was born right at the Lake,
by the beach.
