Tonight we had an " All Call" for all the missionaries. All Call is used when all missionaries need to be contacted. Tonight, we were called to search for 2 lost girls, Abby and Lizzy. Ages 14 and 4. They had been missing for about an hour, they left when the sun was still up and it was warm. By the time we got the call, the sun had gone down and it was getting cold.
As the missionaries gathered at the command post, we were given areas to search. Trails to walk with our flashlights, calling for Abby and Lizzy.
As I saw all the missionaries gather, my grandmothers heart was so grateful. The parents were frantic, the Dad had already started searching. So we all set out to search.
It did not take loing before we got the call that they had been found. As the family was told we heard a cheer go up. I know many prayers of gratitude went up, for a loving Heavenly Father who know where these girls were, even when the rest of us did not.
I was grateful to be part of a missionary team, that no matter how tired after a long day, we all got up and went searching. I know if that would have been 2 of my grandchildren. I would have been overwhelming grateful as I watched all those missionaries answer the call to come and start searching.
So grateful tonight to be a missionary and know that the Lord knows where each of His children are, no matter how young or old, and that He helps us find all His lost sheep.

Catching up, in Pictures
We have had a busy week, so this week you get pictures.
Sometimes, when the girls are out on the lake, they like to link all their boats together and then they all start singing. We love it, it carries all the way across the lake. |
Cool bird, just walking down the trail in front of our 4 wheeler
I love the wild life we see
While we were out collecting garbage on Friday, we started Mama and her twins.
Had a party at the lake for all the missionaries, we were taught the Hula, Elder LeFevre and Elder Drage looked smashing in our Grass skirts from Micronesia
then came the Limbo, not pretty when you are all old people
We had to help each other a little
Sis. Andrus and Sis. Forester
Then came the dancing. It was a fun party.

Special Needs Group
We had an awesome week. Besides the amazing young women we were blessed to work with, we had a special treat over the weekend. We had the special needs mutual from Sandy come for a youth conference.
What a treat. there was such an amazing spirit on the Mountain and on the Lake when they came. They hugged all of us, and had so much fun.
One girl had come last year, and unfortunately lost her phone and glasses in the lake, along with falling in herself. This year she was a little worried about going out on the water. We reassured her and her leaders also reassured her, so she was brave and went. She had so much fun, and at the end, when the transport had come to pick them up and take them back to their camp, she stood up in the transport and shouted for all to here." I didn't fall in this year" then she clapped and we all clapped for her.
I had a special friend named Annie, come and talk to me, she told me I was amazing, it made my day. More then a few tears were shed when they left.

Family Weekend
One of the perks of being a missionary at Heber Valley Camp, is that once during the season our family gets to come and stay for free. They get to stay in cabins, use the Challenge Course's and Go on the Lake.
Our family came this last weekend. We had so much fun. Our 3 boys came with their families. Carrie could not come from Oregon, we hope maybe next year.
We had some great family time on the Challenge Course, the Lake, and at Church and after.
Loved this family time.
Everyone was tired, but we had a great weekend, sure missed Carrie, Briody, Calan, Eliane and Josie
