Kind of like the movie "Ground Hog Day"................

Sometimes it is kind of like the Movie " Ground Hog Day".  Every day we get up, go to the Lake, have a great time with the Young Women and Families that come, go home, eat, and go to bed.  But each day we meet new people, almost everyday, we find someone that knows us or knows one of our kids, or someone we served a mission with in Micronesia.

Some days we get to go for a ride, the pictures really do not do justice to the
beautiful scenery we get to see.
It is so much fun.  Yes we are tired at the end of the day, but it is such a good tired.  We love what we are doing.  We love being Missionaries,  We love these precious Young Women and their leaders that come to camp and the families each weekend are so much fun.  What a GREAT Mission.

The wild life, are not afraid of us, they rarely run away, they just look at us,

Some of our Young Women walking the trail around the lake

I can never get enough of these amazing girls and women who come to our lake,
they bring such happiness with them.

This young women is the granddaughter of the Chandlers,
we served a mission with Elder and Sister Chandler in Micronesia

The other granddaughter of the Chandlers.  both girls came and said hello to us
when they were at the lake. They remembered us from meeting us when
Elder and Sister Chandler gave their homecoming talks and we
went to hear them.

A family of ducks that live at our lake

Another family of ducks.  we have 5 in all that we have found

Out for another ride

Elder LeFevre was pretty excited when we came across these 2 bucks

I know it is hard to tell, but these 2 pictures are 2 different Beavers swimming across
the Lake, with tree branches for  their houses.

I love it when we drive through the thick forests of  Quaking Aspens

Baird's Cabin.  this cabin is about 150 years old.  It belonged to the original owners
of the land that is now Heber Valley Camp. It now sits on the camp property
so the Church went in and restored it.

Found this baby Fawn, we wondered where her mother was.

Terrible picture of me, but a great one of Daisy.  This is our daughter in law,
Kammie's cousin. We have spent many a Long Horn Days in Altamont
with the whole family.  It was fun to find her at camp as a Young Women Leader
